Tape getting ejected while restoration

Hi...running backup executive 2012 on windows server 2008r2. The issue is coming while restoring file server data, the tape is getting ejected while restoring data and it is also not throwing any alert. I am running full and differential backup..

...are you restoring with the correct tape? Otherwise make sure and see if it isn't asking for a specific tape to be inserted...there should be an alert for that

I cant see any alert for that... the restore would run for 40 second and after that tape get ejected. where can I see alert other than backup executive console.
Do I have to restore the full backup tape first and then differential tape. Do the BE generate a alert for that.
...you should be able to just restore from the differential tape if the data was backed up on that, otherwise from the full and then the differential from what I remember.

Do your restore but don't put any tape into the tape drive. BE will prompt you for the tape that it wants.
thanks guys for your prompt reply....I had to visit the site where BE was installed and the admin guy was restoring differential Backup and not putting the Full backup tapes. after putting full backup tape the restoration was successfull.
