Tape jobs getting queued

This issue has been solved. See solution.
hey guys ,
I am using Backup exec 12.5 to backup data on tapes. I am using a stand alone tape drive HP Storageworks Ultrium 920. Everything was working fine until yesterday when one of the backup jobs finished and it gave an error that it could not convert the job log in XML format and will be displayed in text format.
After this any of the tape jobs that i run just stay queued and nothing happens. If i run a job to eject the tape or erase the tape or do an inventory nothing happens, the job just stays queued and does not get cancelled, i have to restart the services to cancel it. The backup jobs are working fine, i am having no issues with that. Appreciate your support in resolving this issue as soon as possible.
Regards,
Majid

Whic SCSI controller you are using ??
I mean whether it is default or add-on card in the system ??
Check the below mentioned TN to clarify your queries...
Why is it recommended that tape devices should not be connected to RAID controllers?

Confirm what Deepak has asked.
Also confirm that you are using the Symantec Drivers for the Tape Drive and that the Removable Storage Service is stopped and disabled.

I'll throw out the token go
I'll throw out the token go into Device listings in Backup Exec, pause the media server, then unpause the media server.
Only because one of my servers was doing a similar thing this week.
edit: If I remember right, if I looked at the queued job status there would be a note about the server paused. The server was not paused as far as I could tell, but doing the above resolved the issue.
@Majid - Have you checked
@Majid - Have you checked that what we asked
@Lively - If media server is paused then none of the backups will run. Here backups are running fine.

Sorry guys for the delay
Thank you guys for the response and sorry for the delay in replying .... I solved the issue, basically it was the HP storage services which were taking control over from Backup exec , so what i did was i stopped the HP services and it started working fine. This article helped me
