  • 1.  Task Server 7.5 all clients inactive ?

    Hi all,

    After 7.5 upgrade, task server not register clients

    Client log :

    Server log flood this warning

    Failed to call TS method 'RegisterClient'. This is expected while AtrsHost service is not yet started. Exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Could not find endpoint element with name 'ClientTaskServer' and contract 'Altiris.DotNetLib.IRemotingRequestService' in the ServiceModel client configuration section. This might be because no configuration file was found for your application, or because no endpoint element matching this name could be found in the client element.

    at System.ServiceModel.Description.ConfigLoader.LoadChannelBehaviors(ServiceEndpoint serviceEndpoint, String configurationName)

    I tried to run the TaskServerSetup_x64.exe without success. I copied the MSI from the SIM directory in c: \ program files (x86) \ altiris Setup Files and then everything worked and my server is UP :)
