  • 1.  Task servers fail to work after altiris 7.5 upgrade

    Hi everyone...

    I just discover that all my task servers are unable to register any client after applying a upgrade from 7.1 to 7.5

    i'm attached a log file from a pc trying to register

    Also, i find that the default site in IIS is stoped, because the port 80 is already been used by other process, i sure this is been use by our web mail app.

    i didnt have this problem in he 7.1 version..

    any suggestions?

    Hi,

    Task server tries to use port 50123 to create tikle connection to NS - please verify such port is open on NS. If default web-site does not work correctly then I'm affraid there could be more issues with SMP - it is definitelly worth to restored it's functioning first.
