    Dear all,

Lately we are seeing some tasks that do not follow the normal task numbering. Instead of IM-999999 they have a format like 99999 and thus they appear on the bottom of the task list (and under the radar...). If you open the task you can see the correct tasknumber, so the task has a correct number.

Attached you can see an example.

How can we avoid this kind of numbering?

    Thanks for your help.

    PS. We run SD 7.1

    Kind Regards

    Hi

The tasks have been open with duplications or inaccessible?

Place an exception in the flow can help track down the problem after the problem ratrear can put an excpetion in the component to perform a specific treatment.

    Can rescue some log records?

How are jobs are saved in the task table?

Tracing the problem is easier to solve.

    Hi

There was a know issue for SD 7.1 which is quite similar to what you have describe, I would recommend you to refer to Tech Article http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH200498 which should solve the issue.

    Regards

    Hi Sandeep and André,

    Thanks for your answers.

I might have not been clear in my first post. These tickets are active and workable. I reassigned one to my personal queue and it received a proper tasknumber from there.

The Tech Article suggested by Sandeep does not apply as these are active, open tickets.

So the only problem is (was, at this moment I have no more affected tickets) that they appear on the bottom of My Task List and are easilly overlooked.

    Kind regards

    Koen
