I have just rolled out the latest build of SEP to a number of Windows XP client machines. They are older Dell Optiplex GX280 desktop PCs with Broadcom NICs. The problem appears to be the way the TeeFer2 driver hooks into the network settings. If I try to make any changes to any network settings, like setting the NIC to force 100MB/Full duplex operation, the system hard resets. Not a BSOD. Just a black screen followed by the Dell BIOS screen. To make matters worse, I can't repair or uninstall SEP because during the uninstall, I'm guessing when it tries to unload the Teefer2 driver, the system blows up again.

Any thoughts, other than the manual uninstall procedure.

Try this to get the system up,

    1. Start the computer in Safe Mode with Networking.
    2. Open Network Connection
3.Right Click on Local Area Connection and click on properties and uncheck "Teefer2 Driver" and click OK.
4.If you have dual or more NIC cards on the computer then uncheck "Teefer2 Driver" for those connections as well.
5.Reboot the computer in Normal Mode and it should boot up without issues.

Then try a complete uninstall / reinstall locally.

Teefer2 Driver is not listed as a service/protocol under the properties of local area connection.

Are you running with the latest XP Service Pack? Are you able to boot in safe mode? If so, what  Windows event errors are you getting?
