    See here:

    About Tamper Protection

    Changing Tamper Protection settings

Creating a Tamper Protection exception on Windows clients

Tamper protection blocks the SEP services from being tampered with (disabled). This is helpful is malware tries to disable the service or users as well.

If you disable, you lose that ability to protect SEP client services.

What is Temper Protection ? - Tamper Protection protects the SEP client from being tampered with by any programs or anything adjusting SEP services without authourisation

How it's work ? - It will block or terminate any services that tries to access any of the SEP services or application

How to enable and disable the same ? - This is enabled by going into client > policies > general settings > Tamper Protection tab (default is usally set to log only).

If i desable the same then what will happen ? - Other systems, virus's, risks will be able to adjust SEP files adjust services shut them down potentially leaving your system at risk of having no protection.
