Terminal services, user roaming profiles and Rtvscan.exe

Good evening/afternoon

I have just recently installed SEP on my server and slowly rolling out the clients onto user machines and servers.

Managed to install client onto terminal server yestarday but today this morning looking at the event viewer i get event ID 1401.

"The following handles in user profile hive <domain>\<username> (S-1-5-21-2021497994-1954988196-1803955055-7629) have been remapped because they were preventing the profile from unloading successfully.

Rtvscan.exe (15532)
 HKCU\Software\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\AV\Custom Tasks (0x17e0)"

This is when rtvscan.exe is not releasing user profiles while they are trying to log out resulting in corrupted profiles, which causes log in problems later on. Is there a solution to this issue that i am not aware about? I know SAV 10.1 had a similar issue but was fixed with an update.

Had the same problem, now fixed. Have a look at the following:

Also, make sure you're running SEP MR2 MP1.

Are the problems not caused by User profile hive cleaner and SEP?

Anyone have a fix for this yet?
