    Hi,

    Iam Planning to install 12.1 in an test server before moving to production, kindly provide me the OS and SQL Version suggestion..

    Then for testing i need to uninstall the old version 11.1 and then try 12.1 for that??

    suggest guys..

    The same you used for SEP 11 is applicable.

    Hi,

    You can upgrade also in your test environment from 11.x to SEP 12.1 EE.

    Or 

    You can also do fresh install for SEP 12.1.

    Hello,

    All versions of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager up to Release Update 6 Maintenance Patch 3 (RU6 MP3) can be migrated to version 12.1.

    You told it was for testing... why dont you try testing with over install , if that doesn't work, try uninstall and reinstall..(please check on one machine)

    can i use SQL server standard 2008 R2 for database?
