Is there any way to backup and restore using DLT in DLT3 tape drives.?

I have an compatability issue.!! We have 2 servers(W2K(1) and W2K3(2) ) in two different locations. They are holding different netbackup setup(hardware) let me explain in below.
W2K(We are going to shutdown this server soon):
TAPE LIBRARY: DEC TL800 (C) (Changer0)
Tape Drives: DLT (Compaq DLT 8000)
Backups are running with DLT medias .
W2K3:
Tape Library:COMPAQ MSL5000 Series (Changer0)
Tape Drives: DLT3 (COMPAQ Super DLT 1)
Backups are running with DLT3 medias .
Our plan is to run a full backup in W2K (1) server before shutting down/Decommissioned. We want to restore W2k Data(full backup ) in W2K3 server by using the medias from W2K server.
Since the Media type differs in both the servers , is it possible to Backup/Restore with DLT medias in W2K3 server(DLT3 Tape drives)?
Please advice me on this .
Note:Both are with VERITAS NETBACKUP 5.1 MP4

SDLT can read DLT8000
Yes SuperDLT can read DLT8000 medias. Check the SuperDLT manual. You need to configure one SuperDLT drive as a DLT media type in Netbackup before the media will be mounted. Also you can't just move a media from one master server to nother and start restoring. You need first to import it (two step procedure).

Check this:
Import phase1 or phase2 fails with a status code 50 (client process aborted)
Basically, user who initiates import needs to stay logged in whilst import is running. You get something similar if you initiate a restore & then log out!

When im searching for image after Phase 1 of Import im finding a popup message saying "INF - Skipping backup id XXXXXXXX_XXXXXXXXX , there is no fragment 1".
Can please let me know what does it means..?

It's probably on another media.
See the following TechNote:
GENERAL ERROR: Pop-up when trying to initiate a phase 2 import from the NetBackup Administration Console: INF - Skipping backup ID (backup_id), there is no fragment 1. INF - Found no images matching the selection criteria that were ready for phase 2 import.
