  • 1.  Is there a fast way to get my IP white listed?

    Is there any fast way to get my IP address of the Brightmail blacklist and white listed? I have sent an email to investigation@review.symantec.com but from everything I have read on the web this could take a long time. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

    Hi,

     

    Yes there is a way to whitelist your IP address, for that you need to whitelist it from thirdparty database i.e. www.spamhaus.org

    Laeek,

     

    The lists effected by Symantec's IP Removal site are completely separate from the lists provided by Spamhaus. Someone would have to be using the Spamhaus list in the Sender Groups section of the interface in order for this to make a difference in our program. If you need to verify something prior to posting please feel free to ask questions.

    Hi Tom,

     

    May be ill be some around wrong butI have provided the thirdparty because it also looks into it, previously symantec was not having any tool where we can look into the database and remove the IP address from blacklist database, presently symantec has came out with it's own database from where we can trace the IP address whether it is blacklist or listlisted.
