  • 1.  is there a "matching list" to compare local and global bad sender?

    Hi all,

my question is about comparing my local bad sender list with the global list. I wonder if there is a tool that does it automatically and, once it finds a match, it will notice me so that I can "clean" my local list removing the already-blocked senders present in the global list of Symantec, avoiding redundancies.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi,

I dont know such a tool, dont think that such a tool exist.

But why are you using local bad ips? It can only help you for ceratain, singular events.

Think about or try using custom content rules or 3rd party rbl.

    Regards

    Thomas

You have to understand that our global bad senders list is nowhere near static. It changes hourly, so it is best for you to use your own local resources to determine if this IP is still tryign to send you mail. You can check the Message Audit Log for emails sent from that IP or use the 'IP Reputation Lookup' function under the Reputation tab to get a full report.
