  • 1.  Is there plans to support Bitlocker?

    We are looking to the future and was wondering if Symantec plans for SEE to be the front end for Bitlocker at some point?  And if there would be a business value in using Symantec to manage the Bitlocker devices?

    Dan,

    Bitlocker support should be addressed in the next major release of Symantec Endpoint Encryption, version 11.1.0.  Much like how we manage FileVault in 11.0.1, we would keep a repository of recovery keys for the systems, as well as continue to monitor via the SEE Management Server whether the system is checking in and maintaining encryption.
