Hi all,

Recently I've upgraded to backup exec 2010 from 11d, now I am testing the exchange mail restore from old version backup to disk file with GRT enabled, I've inventoried and cataloged the old backup file, but I can't find anything on "selection of restore job properties" windows, how can I restore single mailbox using backup exec 2010 from old 11d?

I have not tried an 11D GRT

I have not tried an 11D GRT set in 2010, but assuming you got no errors when you ran the catalog and inventory job then did you check the date range filter in the restore selections screen as we default to only showing recent backups so if your 11D backup was before this default period then you will need to change the filter to view the older backups.

yes, I've checked the date

yes, I've checked the date range filter and set it to no limited, seems this is a cataloging problem, how can I make a new catalog database?

Stop the be services rename

Stop the be services rename the catalogs folder, create an empty catalogs folder, start the services  run an inventory and catalog job... make sure you return your original catalogs folder doing a reverse process later though as this will temporariy remove your newer catalogs.
