  • 1.  Is there a switch to make Ghost beep when done imaging?

    Hi All,

     

    I was wondering if there's a switch I can use to make ghost.exe (or ghost32.exe) sound a BEEP when it's done?

    I searched the Switches documentation, but I haven't found anything relating to "beep".

    Sometimes I start imaging, and I go do other things in my office, and it would be helpful to hear a beep when Ghost finishes.

    I'm using Ghost 11.5.1 in a DOS environment.

    andykn101,

    Thanks for the link. It worked.

    I had to use the switch "ghost.exe -fx", in order to automatically close ghost and continue other batch operations. I then added a BEL command (CTRL+G in DOS) to my batch file and it now BEEPS when done.

     

    P.S.

    In Windows, I recommend opening the beep.txt file with Notepad++, as it can clearly show the BEL character.
