    Is there a way to get LCD/CRT monitor SN and model , print server IP/MAC/Model with altiris CMS and AMS 7? We need this informaiton to be included in inventory report.thanks!

    Maybe.

    1. The monitor driver need be installed, with this maybe u can get: LCD/CRT vendor and model;
    2. Print Server you can try throght Network Devices scan (SNMP);

    If you have AMS products, you can add these informations manually.

    If I remember correctly, NS6 was able to pull the model info from the monitor as long as the driver was installed as Lippi said earlier. What do you mean by print server? If you want to know which print server is being used as in a Server 2008 print server, that info would be in the registry and you should be able to pull it out. If you mean something else let us know.

    nowadays many printers come with printer server device to share for the network. possible to get this into inventory report?
