Is there a way to hide the pop up that states "Examining Content".

  • 1.  Is there a way to hide the pop up that states "Examining Content".

    Posted Jan 25, 2016 11:58 AM

    Hello,

Somebody can help me, please, is not possible to hide the pop up that states "Examining Content".  I´ve been setting the value to UI.NO.SCAN.init from 1 to 0,

but the pop up still appears. What can i do.

    I found the next:

You need to go to: Servers->Overview and choose the Endpoint Server.
After you clicked on the endpoint server there is a tab called "Endpoint Settings".
Inside there you can look for "UI.No_Scan" and you will find it, you need to change the value from 0 to 1.

but in my case, i can´t hide the pop up "EXAMINING CONTENT"

This should solve the problem once the agents checked in and they received the change from the server.  By default this setting is 15 minutes... So you would make the change and then wait 15 minute +/- to make sure things wwere updated correctly.

So one thing that I forgot to include is you need to apply the confiugration change once you make it.  If you navigate to System -> Agents -> Agent Configuration there should be a button  called Apply Confiugration and you should be able to update the configuratin that has changed.

For an out of date configuration there should be a warning here.
