I need full acess to the compliance reports outside of the altiris console for more advanced reporting purposes. I want to run (copies of) them in Sql Server Management Studio and make adjustments where needed. Do I have to attempt reverse engineering the console reports or has someone already done it and can provide the sql for me?
The Patch Compliance Reports are stored procedures.
Just simple run the stored procedures with the applicable parameters...
as shown below within SQL Mgmt Studio from your CMDB
WDRAIN1, your screen shot is a bit of an eye chart. Is it possible for you to paste the contents of the SQL query directly into this thread? Thanks!
You can clone any of existing default reports via mouse right click menu on report, within SMP Console ⇒ open cloned report and click "edit" ⇒ now you can see what sql query is there, with what parameters, etc.
And here is another thread where is shown, how to catch required GUID(s) via Altiris Profiler during report data refresh on SMP Console
USE [Symantec_CMDB] GO Declare @startdate DATETIME = NULL, @enddate DATETIME = NULL set @startdate = DATEADD(Year, -1, GETDATE()) set @enddate = GETDATE() EXEC spPMWindows_ComplianceByComputer @VendorGuid = '9D5F6BB8-8ADF-49D1-9D84-2932CA46CE1E', -- @CategoryGuid = '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000', @SupersedenceStatus = 'non-superseded', @OperatingSystem = '%', @DistributionStatus = 'active', @FilterCollection = 'EB3A1A12-E1C7-4431-B060-F0333E4E488C', @StartDate = @startdate, @EndDate = @enddate, @pCulture = 'en-US', @ScopeCollectionGuid = '91C68FCB-1822-E793-B59C-2684E99A64CD', @TrusteeScope = 'S-1-1-0'
Can you help me please thanks for advice.
