Is there a work-around for installing NS on a DC?

I have a lab environment with a single server and three clients. The server is an Active Directory Domain Controller using MS Server Standard 2003 with SQL Express.

I can run the Deployment Solution fine, but now that I'm trying to install the NS 6.0 I get a message telling me that it cannot be installed on a DC. Other than procuring a second machine, is there a work-around for allowing the installation to proceed?

Thanks.

No workaround

Altiris Notification Server requires the creation of local groups. DC's (at least up to 2003) do not allow this.

VM Maybe?

Have you considered maybe installing a VM on the same server and installing the NS on it? That would be the only way you can get it to share the server's hardware.
