SEPPrep can do this. It's an unsupported tool from Symantec which you can use to uninstall competitor AV and install SEP. Otherwise you can look to SCCM or Altiris How many clients total? What are your requirements?

there are plenty of tools availalbe to do the job, you have SMS, SCCM, LANDesk and symantec's own Altris. How many machines do you have in total and in how many of them are you planning to roll out SEP ?

What about SCCM? Do you have this in your environment? Altiris is another option.

all those tools that I have mentioned, even the Symantec's own Altris is a licensed software and you need to buy them. please contact the respective vendors sales team as they will be the right person whom you should contact.

What's your budget? More than likely any third party tool is going to require a purchase. I don't know of anything free to do 60k+ clients.

Or have you looked at GPO? See here:

I think it's worth asking, given the feedback you've provided so far, what are you after in a 3rd party deployment tool?

If you're looking for something that is free and that can be used immediately, then you'll struggle.  The many, various software management tools out there typically require a license and some sort of agent on the endpoint.

If you're looking at free and immediate deployment, then I'd suggest:

    GPO: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO81180

    Or the inbuilt tools:

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH164308
    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH183172

So, to circle back.  What are your requirements in this 3rd party tool?

    #EDIT#

Thumbs up to Brian who beat me to the GPO suggestion :)

I suppose a company of this big would most certainly have any one of the deployment tool. in this an in place upgrade or a brand new installation ?

Wow! 60.000 endpoints and you have no client management tool? You must be kidding?

Ask around. The guys that deploy patches are probably using SCCM or something.

If you don't have any client management tool and don't patch you are in big trouble (Seriously big trouble)..

    Hi,

You can install the client using third-party tools instead of the tools that are installed with the management server. If you have a large network, you are more likely to benefit by using these options to install Symantec client software.

You can install the client by using a variety of third-party products. These products include Microsoft Active Directory, Tivoli, Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), and Novell ZENworks. Symantec Endpoint Protection supports Novell ZENworks, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft SMS.
