I notice taskmanger has file called cds.exe and it was using allot of memory.

I was able to open regedit and find the file under C:\Documents and Settings\psingh\Local Settings\Application Data\

I Deleted the files then i got popup from Norton saying" Threat requring manual remove detected: System Infected: Tidserv Activity2.

I was able to download files from norton website called FixTDSS. FixTDSS software was unable to detect any virus on this  computer.

Also, I have used Norton Power Eraser and it was unable to fix this virus.

Right now I am looking under Windows Task Manager Pings.exe is using most of Memory 255,960K.

If i serach cds under regedit i am still able to find two files.

How can i fix following Virus.

I have the same issue and have tried all the things you mentioned plus several differnet suggestions from forums but with no success. Is reformatting the only solution? All my system restores have the virus.
