  • 1.  Token code alternative unlock methode?

    when i start on mac boot screen shows with F4 "Enter the WDRT in the field below"?

    what is this? is that secure or can maybe anybody calculate a token for this UUID and dont need my password to unlock the system?

    WDRT stands for Whole Disk Recovery Token and only applies if you have a Universal Server managing the PGP environment,  Its basically a backdoor incase the user forgets their password, the administrator of the Universal Server can issue 1-use codes to give out over the phone to the end user to get into the system.

    When i dont have a Universal Server managing, so this Field is inactive? But why is displayed?

    And Symantec cant calculate a recovery token with my ID?

    Correct, the BootGuard screen is the same regardless of whether its a UN managed machine or not.  There will be no way to hack/generate an acceptable number without a UN
