Ghost Solution Suite

I have had this laptop for about 5 months and i have tried a few times to take an image. Whenever i try, Ghost just freezes at startup (just before the menu appears.)

I don't have a problem with the cdrw/dvdrom booting up cause i just reloaded the os about a month ago. I also tried other ghost boot disk and they froze as well there are no errors during the loading up .

This time i tried through the Ghost console after installing the ghost virtual partition no errors gets to ghost and freezes.

I have also tried disabling devices such as legacy usb, video cards, turning off and disabling the wireless. I have also upgraded the Bios.

Toshiba satellite A100
Celeron M
1gig Ram
40gig HDD
realtek 8139

Hi Jon,
I have a Toshiba Satellite A100 laptop too, although of different specs.
I haven't had a problem like you, however, I have observed if the setting "Legacy USB support" is disabled in BIOS, Ghost 8.0 takes about 2 minutes to load up.

I was able to get around this problem by running ghost with -nousb switch. Using this switch allowed ghost to load up in couple of seconds.
