    Hello,

When the loction of a meeting is a phone number, touching the phone number in the Where field launches Maps.  If the location is a number and not an address, the dialer app should be launched.  Thank you.

    Hi,

Can you give us an example of the appointment text that triggers this behavior so we can try to reproduce in house?

This is doing the same thing for me.

Any phone number in the LOCATION field of a calendar item no longer dials the phone, but now tries to convert it to a lat long and searches for it on google maps.

    Example #1

1-800-999-9999,,,349344#  (a phone number with a pause and a conference ID number.

    Example #1

1-757-555-5555 will NOT dial the phone when you click the location.  It goes to maps.

    Phone:  Note 5

This is very problematic.  Can you help fix?

    Thanks

    Hi,

If data is in the location field, it will open Maps- that's an expected behavior. Phone numbers along with the conference calling logic should be placed in Notes.

    Listen up Peter....

Touchdown (and Outlook for that matter) have always had the ability to dial phone numbers in the LOCATION FIELD.  Corporations routinely put conference call telephone numbers in the location field.

With your new less capable version, this functionality has been lost.  We are asking you to do some simple logic... if the LOCATION field holds a telephone format then dial a number, anything else, link to maps.

If this perplexes you, I can help you with the If-then statement.  Or, you can just put it back the way it was with TD before you removed capability.

Please remember, you are a developer, not an end user.  Please try and meet your customer requirements and NOT tell us what to expect.

    Thank you.
