  • 1.  Touchdown App with Samsung S7 Edge is not working

    I  used touchdown for long time with my Samsung Active 5 and previously with several different android phones.

    I switched to Samsung S7  now .  I was able to configure mobile@work with m.mobileiron.net:15161

     My office asked me to configure with OUTLOOK app with misentry.equinix.com ( equinix is my company )  It worked fine .
    I tried to  configure the Touchdown  I got the below  error messages.
     
    Handshake failed:Exception performing request
    ActiveSync version check returned negative, but still trying for 12.1
    Checking Certificate...Checking to see if server is self-signed :https://misentry.equinix.com
    Server cert IS trusted, disabling accept all certsChecking ActiveSync with SSL...
    Handshake failed:Exception performing request
    ActiveSync version check returned negative, but still trying for 12.1
    Checking 2007 with SSL...
    Handshake failed for operation: Subscribe-> Error renewing a subscriptionChecking 2003 with SSL...
    Handshake failed:Exception performing request
     
    I need help fix the issue

    Hi,

    Are you able to reach that misentry.equinix.com address from your device browser? If not, then Touchdown will not be able to either- reach out to your IT team to see if it's being blocked.

    I am having the same problem.  I know i can reach the server since I can setup the account with the gmail or native android app on the same phone.

    My log:

    Checking Certificate...Checking to see if server is self-signed :https://webmail05.sherwoodcloud.com
    Server cert IS trusted, disabling accept all certsChecking ActiveSync with SSL...

    Also, can you please email touchdown-support@symantec.com so we can get some logs?

    I have the same problem keep getting error message below, no matter what I do or combination of things

     

     

    Sever cert IS trusted, disabling accept all certs checking ActiveSync with ssl…

    Active sync location returned HTTP code 404 not found

    ActiveSync version check returned negative but still trying for 12.1

    Checking 2007 with SSL

    Error renewing subscription. Refresh folder list and try again

    Okay, can you email touchdown-support@symantec.com and we can start looking at getting some logs?
