For some reason I'm not getting a notification for emails sent to subfolder. If the email goes to the Inbox - I get a notification just fine. I need to know if  there is a way to get notification on new email sent to subfolders.

Have you tried selecting the folder from the Mail View menu and then clicking the 'Click to Sync this folder' option near the bottom of the screen?

It worked for me.

But now , I have the opposite question - I used the above to activate some subfolders - but I have decided I don't want to be notified any longer - and I can't find a way of de-selecting it :)

Ok - I found the answer...

Following is for Android v9

In the Email view, click the top left Menu and then click the Settings Cog wheel in the bottom left,

From the Settings, select Synchronization and then Synchronised folders. Touch a folder to Add to Sync List - should go Green. Touch again to de-select

I am running 8.5. I'm not seeing a menu in the top left. However, if you are in the email section and select the bottom right options (3 dots) - then More, then Choose Folders - you can select and deselect folders from there.
