I keep getting these messages . I just intalled Symantec Endpoint 11.0 on windows XP SP2 using the custom installation. I have "allowed" the application and still getting this error message.   


"Symantec Endpoint Protection
Traffic has been blocked from this application: NT Kernel & System (ntoskrnl.exe)"

It's coming from Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 on Windows XP SP2.

Hope someone helps!!

If you go in and check your logs, you'll find more accurate information under the Network Threat Protection logs.  The message given by SEP is not really useful in telling you what is happening in this case.  You'll note that this question has come up a few times, you might wish to review the previous conversations about this topic (and you might wish to check if it has been discussed before posting).

i am also seeing the same

i am also seeing the same since yesterday.
no changes made except for some changes in network threat protection.
its very annoying niw.
is there way to revert the changes??
