    Hello,

We have a problem of saturation of bandwidth on some bonds. We want DLP agents to communicate very specific times.

    Thank's for your help.

I'm not sure what 'bond' means here? Specific to DLP communication over the network, this cannot be scheduled. Communication is estalished on demand between DLP detection and enforce servers.

From a bandwidth consideration perspective, It is important to configure your policies in such a manner that there a fewer 'Fase Positive' incidents being logged, thus optimizing Network usage..

    Hi Denis

i mean we want to know if it's possible to schedule communication between agent and enforce server, due the saturation of the bandwitch on network links?

    thank you for your return.

can you not restrict on network firewall (time based)?

    Hello pete,

This is a good idea, but I think it will be several error messages communication between the agent and the Enforce Server

can you confirm me, if i change the bandwidth throttle to 2 or 4 Mbps, we reduce the trafic of bandwidth.

    thank's

    Hi Mavericks,

Please see my post in the below url:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/can-i-planning-sends-incidents-dlp

This is not recommended though but may be streamlined, by the below:

    • Add sufficient disk space for the Network cache
    • Use a dedicated LAN/vLAN for DLP server communication, thus dedicating bandwidth
