This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi,

Most of the clients gets a pop up notification "Trial License has expired". What does it mean? We already uploaded our license file last September.

Thanks.

Hi, As Ajit Jha suggested

Hi,

As Ajit Jha suggested check your license status on SPEM console

If SEPM console is updated then upgrade your clients with latest package.

Suggestions

Hello,

What version of SEP are you carrying??

Is that SEP version 11.x or SEP 12.1?

Again,

SEP 11.0 does not require a Software License file. It works on the Paper License.

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH103025

If you are carrying SEP version 11.x, and it shows you this message means, you have installed the Trial version of the Software.

The Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 trial version is intended for evaluation purposes only and not intended to be installed on production systems.

If you would like to install the Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 licensed version on a computer that is currently running Symantec Endpoint Protection trial version, you must first uninstall the trial version before installing the licensed version. The Symantec Endpoint Protection client machines must be rebooted before installing the licensed version.

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH91101

I don't think you are carrying SEP 12.1, as SEP 12.1 was even released Last September.

Hope that helps!!

Hi there! We encountered that

Hi there! We encountered that kind of problem before. What we did is that we create another package and then install it to the clients. You can do it also :)
