trojan.gen virus in system detect b y symantec. It shown pending analysis. What it mean?

What's the filename and location of the file?

See if this aplpies:

When new virus definitions are in place and the quarantine is being scanned, a DWH file is created and detected by Auto-Protect

Hi mohitjain,

What action did SEP ultimately take?  "Pending analysis" should only be displayed for a short time until the threat is cleaned, quarantined, deleted, etc.

Brian and mick- find the virus status

Risk - Trojan.gen

filename - .exe

type - backup

status - infected

Thanks- can you copy in the lines from the risk log? What did the symhelp with threat analysis scan do?

It was now with quarantine result after i have run full scan with attach the device.

I have not tried the symhelp, now i have runned and it is in process

Symhelp scan and found five file as virus, i have removed it and after that message appear for reboot.

Is it ok or any other need to check it?
