  • 1.  Trouble installing Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

    Hi Guys,

    Having a little trouble installing Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition direct from the symantec website. It seems to create the cloud storage etc but while installing it gets to about 50/60% complete and it comes up with the following error . . . 3bebdf03ab and wont go any further. I have tried it a few times and once shutting off my Norton Security.

    Has anyone come across this problem ? or can the staff at Norton please reply to this ?

    Do you have a support ID or customer number? If so, you can open a case. Otherwise, one of the Symantec employees does check it but it may not be until Monday.

    Wait, are you trying to install SEP.cloud on a computer that has any Norton products running?

    If so, please manually uninstall yourt Norton products, reboot, then run the Norton Removal Tool and reboot.

    Try your installation after that - it should work, and if not, as Brian suggested, contact support.
