Trouble with scan jobs

Hi,
I have a trouble with Backup Exec 2012. I have a backup job with 10 hours of elapsed time and I expect more than 5 hours to finish. I swapped the tapes and now need to run a scan job in BE2012 to continue the backup?
How I can do this if the drive are busy with the backup job?

Hi,

Won't work. You need to configure an Import job on the library after configuring a mail slot.

Running the Import job within BE will allow you to put in a tape, which is then automatically inventoried. If thay tape is available to continue the backup job, it will be used.
