  • 1.  truscan slow update - freshly installed took 5 days to update

    Hi,

    currently user is having the latest SEP version but why does ONLY truscan took so long to update?


    From the below link, it shows the exact symptoms as the user had experience but I couldn't clearly understand the cause of this issue.

    1) Any idea on why it took so long?
    2) Is there anything to proof using article on KB?

    Make sure your SEP clients are 11.0.5002.333..
    If you have a older version then this could be the issue..

    user is having the latest SEP client as you mentioned.

    Hi Prachand,

    I've checked the link before. Took SEP 5 days to get the truscan definition updated. I am not sure if its the link that cause the problem, because other components updating normally, this only happened to 1 user currently.

    I am not worry about troubleshooting the problem, i just want to know why did this happened.
