Trying to find data in v7 that I had in v6

Altiris v7 schema is different enough from v6 to result in some holes I need filling as far a critical attributes: Can someone point me to the Altiris v7 repository table/views that hold the following:

a. Computer Serial Number

b. Computer Model and Manufacturer

c. Software titles – found a few tables/views that could have this info, but don’t

d. For Network Share info, the View 'vOSFileShareWindows' looks to be the replacement for v6's "AeX OS Network Shares" and has all the attributes required, just no data.

Thanks in advance,

James

James, Joel Smith has a 3 part series that describes this well: http://www.symantec.com/commun...ion-70-database-schema (part 1)

Thanks for this info. I've read through Joel's series. It was helpful.

Still looking for info on where to find discovered SW titles for a given computer instance. Namely, just four (4) attributes:

- sw product Manufacturer

- sw product Name

- sw product Version

- sw product Filename

Thanks,

JC

In re-reading the articles, I would agree, I don't believe that can be all of the data classes. I see you commented on the article, so hopefully Joel responds (he usually does).
