  • 1.  Turn of Notification Port Scan Logged

    My setup is as follows

    Running Symantec Small Business Edition 12.1.5

    Clients are running SEP 12.1.5

     

    Only on one client does the following messages shows up

    Port Attack scan logged.

     

    Now the clients are mananged from SEPM on the server and so I cannot change anything on the local clients and have been through everything on the server but i cannot seem to location where to turn off this notification.

    This is part of the IPS notification.

    Go to the group the clients are in. Select the Policies tab

    Location specific settings

    select server control >> customize

    Uncheck "Display Intrusion Prevention Notifications"
