I am setting up altiris for a Goverment Organization. Besides the cost center and the accounts, we have a third important accounting number called Fund. This Number Reflects the source of the money used to buy something and put limits on how the asset can be used and disposed of, especially if it comes from a grant. The fund number is for our purposes more important than the account code.
1) Is there any goverment agancy out there that worked around that?
2) Is it much trouble to add a new Financial Type for it and rework the reports and tables to include this table as well?
