  • 1.  Un managed client how to setup

    Daft question how do you setup an un managed client for SEP v12 using SEPM?

    I found documentation on how to covert un managed to managed but not how to create an unmanaged install I am sure its simple just no idea how.

    Required for a DMZ and a few hosted servers.

    You can export an unmanaged client, see here:

    In the export package screen, under Export Settings, there is an option to export an unmanaged client. You can select this option.

    click on admin- install packages- export package ( select 32 or 64 bit)

    select export as unmanaged as per screen shot,
