Hi folks,

I am currently getting this error when trying to run my D2D2T backups using BE 12.5. I have setup 3 policies 1 called Backup Servers 1-9, Backup Servers 10-19 (both full backups) and a differential backup that backups up a file sharing server.

The servers 1-9 starts at 6pm backsup to disk and the to tape no problems
The differential backup starts at 23:15 goes to disk then FAILS to go to tape and i get the error message  - Unable to acquire device or media.
The serevrs 10-19 starts at 23.59 goes to disk then to to tape no problems.

For all policies going to disk i use the same media set - overwrite Protection 2 weeks, Append - Infinite - Allow Append
1-9 and 10-19 media set  Overwrite Protection 6 days, Append - Infinite - Allow Append
Differential Backup media set Overwrite Protection 6 days, Append - Infinite - Allow Append

2 seperate media sets - i did try using 1 media set but got the same error yesterday.

i am trying touse all the policies to put tha backups onto 1 tape.

The servers 1-9 and 10-19 go into 1 folder on the disk and the differential into another folder.

If you anyone can offer any advice i would be very grateful - or if you require anymore information please ask :)
