HI

After added 4 drives LTO6, i configured a policy to use LTO6 for backup. Media and drive densities have HCART3 density and the drives are up. When i launched the backup, i have an error :

1)I think you have only one robot and storage unit defined in the policy is like xx-hcart3-tld0--

2)plz verify whether correct volume pool and storage unit defined for the policy

Plz provide installpath\netbackup\bin\admincmd\bppllist <policyname> -L -U

3)plz verify the media status

4)Netbackup will not allow the backups with diff retentions level. Please verify whether allow multiple retentions levels are unchecked or not in media server host properties-media.

5)Looks like a new setup,as a standard best practices did u create scratch and catalog pool?

Please verify the above excellent technote

Check that density is set correct for the storage unit.

Assumption is the mother of all mess ups.
