  • 1.  unable to configure database sql 2005 with SEPM MRU6a

    Hello

    I try to install  SEPM MR6A to windows 2008 . when i configure under "'management configure wizard "  i have the message next 

    "Failed to update to systeme configuration files"  after to complete following boxes:

     Database server

     SQL server port

     Database name

     User

     Password

     Confirm password (only when creating a new database)

     SQL Client folder

     DBA user (only when you create a new database)

    DBA password (only when you create a new database)

     Database data folder

     

    i don' t find information about this message

    i see the file log sepm_inst.log but not indicate a fail install

    can yoy help me please ? i search a log about "management server wizard"

    Will it be possible to privide the Screenshot of the Error or the screen where it fails.

    SEPM on SERVER A Windows 2008 on partition f:\  without firewall
    client sql sp2

    SQL 2005 SP2 database is present on other server in partition f:\ under windows 2003
    port sql communicate with 4532

    Will it be possible to try the the default Port 1433 for SQL to Test?

    Hi

    action : Desinstallation SEPM
    reboot
    Installation SEPM and no problem  with port 4532  .
    I ran install with  mode Administrator

    i didn't know why the first install provide the fail message 
     i suppose that the origine of problem  is the right of installation
