    My machine was infected by virus. A full scan in safe mode removed the virus., but now I am unable to connect to the network.

    try to reinstall network driver ..

    Lan is available. Sert did not help

    There may be a possblity that the  TCP IP stack was corrupted.

    Take a back up of the TCP ip settings and  Rebuild the TCP Ip stack.

     

     At the command prompt, copy and paste (or type) the following command and then press ENTER:


    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

     Reboot the computer.

    It just reset the TCP ip stack, that i think might have been corrupted by the virus
