    I have problem downloading package from LUA, does anyone got the same problem. i will shared the log in here.

    do you see any error on the LUA console?

    can you post the screen capture?

    The log shows 404 http error while downloading big contents however its successfuly downloads URLs.

    Have you tried creating new download schedule? make sure your firewall is allwoing the connection 

    In you r log file on 2012-01-22 22:00:03 you have a lot of HTTP 404 error messages when trying to connect to http://liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com:80/blablabla.zip. This is the reason for your download failure. HTTP 404 means that the file could not be accessed. This could be because of a link failure or permission denied or the file does not exist.

    Hi Hamann,

    It looks like this server is downloading SEP materials- is there a reason why the SEPM is not doing its own downloading and distributing?  Usually the SEPM does a very efficient job of that, but there are use cases where LUA is recommended.

    There are 768 successful downloads in that one log.  I see a lot of FTP errors- are you using FTP to download materials?  If so it is probably not configured correctly in LUA. 

    Purge seems to be scheduled at the same time as a download task is taking place.  Move the purge to a time of day when nothing else is happening.

    That's all I can tell from this one log.  For LUA cases, these are generally what we need:

    •luadebuginfo.zip      
    •.sdbz from each LUA server  
    •The exported LUA Event Logs (export as CSV from the Event Log section in LUA)
    •The exported config file (export as zip from the 'Configure' section in LUA)
