Unable to enable the user email box.

When I try to enable the user email box in Enterprise vault. The window get stuck on processing mail box.

 

Please can some one help,

Hi, can you share what version of EV and Exchange?

Also, is this new installation?  Was it working previously, etc..?

The Ev Version is 8.5 and Exchange is 2003

 

this is not a new installation and was working fine..the problem is with 2 new accounts...the accounts looks fine in gal and on exchange

Can you please check the event log and let us know what error is generated ?

You may also try to re-run the provisioning task and then try enabling the mailbox again.

The issue is mostly realted to Mapi, is your mailbox archiving running fine ?

The Event Viewer Says the Below:-

 

Timed out whilst waiting for the MAPI profile mutex.

 

Mutex Name:- Enterprise Vault Profile Mutex

I had seen the simalr issue in the past and the issue was caused because of 2 version of  MAPISVC.INF

You may also want to run a DTRACE of hmm I think it's agentclientbroker. (could be wrong)

Also get DTRACE for VAC / Snap-In / mmc.exe
