  • 1.  Unable to find the Clients in SEPM when they are in Offline

    Dear All,

    I am an SEPM 12.4 installed in my environment.I had found an issue in it where in as whenever any clients go away from network, I am not able to view those in my SEPM. I even changed the view in filter but it dint help me.

     

    Can anyone tell me what would be the cause for it?

    check the number of days you have set them to delete in sepm aftere beeing offline, its under

    Admin

    domain

    domain properties,

    I dont set any such values in SEPM but I am able to view the clients back on SEPM once they are in network

    Have you configure delete inactive sep client offline ? In version 12.1 of the SEPM, the location for adjusting the setting to delete clients which have not connected for X number of days has moved: 1.In the SEPM, go to the Admin page. 2.Select Domains. 3.Under Tasks, select Edit Domain Properties. 4.In the Edit Domain Properties window, on the default General tab, note the option to "Delete clients that have not connected for specified time.     When sep client reflect after online,you have configure delete inactive client.

    Check that setting again, if you have configured it for 1 day, it means client will be deleted 1 day after being offline. so next day when they come inside your network , it will show up again inside SEPM

    Meaning what? When they go offline or are off the network for an extended period of time?
