Unable to install HF2 for Filestore 5.5 SP1 HF1

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I've downloaded the latest path HF2 for File Store 5.5 SP1, but i can't install it.

 

When i try to lauch the upgrade command, the ftp transfert work normally (i can see it in my ftp server) but the upgrade failed with the fllowing message.

 

 

SFS>
SFS> upgrade patch install ftp://10.10.53.127/sfs-sles10_x86_64-5.5SP1RP2HF2-patches.tar.gz
SFS patch ERROR V-288-127 Either error in connecting or authentication error or file may not exist on remote host.
SFS> upgrade patch install ftp://lbo@10.10.53.127/sfs-sles10_x86_64-5.5SP1RP2HF2-patches.tar.gz
Enter password for user 'lbo': ****
Please wait. Upgrade is in progress...
SFS patch ERROR V-288-885 Patch may not contain some neccesary files or wrong patch

I restart my FileSTore cluster (each node) but it's the same. Someone have an idea ?

Solved

My mistake.

 

So, always uncompress the downloaded file.tar.gz to a temporary folder.

You need to have a Directory called 'patches' and a file README.

In the directory patches, you must find "SFSFS-patch-5.5SP1RP2HF2_2010_11_15_rc4.tar.gz"

 

It's the file for  update.
