Hello

While installing Placeholders through AdminConsole Getting "Error...Right-click server name to view log or retry"

VSA is in local admin on FS

EV 7.0 sp1

Windows 2003 Std

You may want to check the logs on the target machine, if you get any:

C:\Windows\EVPush.log, C:\Windows\EVFSAInst.log

Check the eventlogs.

Check that RPC, WMI and Remote Registry is running on the file server.

That DCOM is enabled on both machines.

When I tried to install the service with remote install it creats folder temp on c:\ and place install files in it.

When the install fails the folder is gone and the evfsinst.log gone as well.

I was able to copy the files that the ev creates and was able to install the service OK.
