    Posted Jul 02, 2014 04:04 PM

    I am trying to deploy SEP and I have tried the following;

    1. remove the reg entires for file rename operations

    2. removing all existing AV software

    3. cleaning the broken install folders

    4. looked for a log file regarding install failure(unable to locate in %TEMP%)

    5. reviewed several related posts in this forum to locate an example that applies to my situation that would help(nothing found so far, been at this for a couple hours)

    My request is, please advise what are my next steps that will help me get this client installed, up and running ASAP. Thank you!

    Have you tried to install it manually from client or deploy it from Server?

    Package you have tried is 64 bit?

    Any error message when trying to install?

    Serch sep_inst.log file for the solution.

    Best option is run cleanwipe then search for any leftover files/folders and reg entries and delete them. Try the install again.

    What logs do I need to gather in order to troubleshoot a failed SEP 12.1 client installation?
