Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

Keep getting an error message that SEP 12.1.6 MP4 is not compatible with Windows 10. All the rest of the computers in the office have Windows 10 with SEP 12.1.6 MP4 installed. This computer was upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and wasn't workng very well. So we did a reset which got rid of all the apps, but kept the files. Any help would be appreciated.​ Thanks.

Is this the Windows 10 Anniversary update? If so, 12.1.6 MP5 is the first version to "partially" support it:

If not, then post the SEP_INST.log and SIS_INST.log files here for review:

I would sugggest to run following tools on the affected machine & then do a fresh install of Small Business Edition.

1) Symantec Cloud Extractor and CEDAR 

2) Norton Removal tool

Sorry to report but 12.1.6 MP5 does not successfully install on a freshly built Surface Pro 4 running Windows 10 64bit.

As you know there are plenty of threads to troll through with a wide variety of information and guidence but I just would like to know which version of SEP client is supported for Windows 10 64bit.

I've managed to answer my own query. The version of SEP which successfully installs is 12.1.6 MP3.

After which the client can be upgraded to 12.1.6 MP5 via SEPM.
