  • 1.  Unable to install SEP 12.1.6860 on Windows 10 Pro

    Hi,

    Can someone help me in installing latest SEP client in Windows 10 Pro?

    I tried to install this on this platform windows 10 Pro, but I keep on getting this error:

    If this is the anniversary update then you need to be at 12.1.6 MP5 or higher:

    Endpoint Protection support for Windows 10 Anniversary Update

    Latest version is 12.1.6 MP6 so you're best off installing this version.

    This is Windows 10 Pro.

    While SEPM is on 12.1 RU6 MP4 version.

    You can import a newer client version into an older SEPM. Per the error message, I would suggest 12.1.6 MP5 or higher.

    If you upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 without uninstalling the SEP client first then you need to remove SEP and re-install it.
