    Hello,

Could you let us know what version of SEP are you carrying??

Do you have a different Domain created in the SEPM?

To check the same: Login to SEPM as "admin", then go to Admin TAB> Domains

Could you let us know how many domains do you see?

If there are 2 domains, then to which is the Limited Administrator created for?

Accordingly, make sure on the SEPM Login screen > Click on Options Button and then insert the Domain Name (same as the Domain name within the SEPM)

    Hope that helps!!

With limited admin accounts if you have more then one domain setup in the SEPM you have to specifiy which domain your logging into, you can do this by hitting the options button in the SEPM login screen.

System admin accounts you dont have to do this as they are added across all domains.

    Hi Mithun,

Version: Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 (11.0.7101.1056)

We have two Default and "XXXXXX"

Tried to adminster "XXXX" domain and log in by inserting the domain name in the SEPM log in screen.

Still getting authentication failure. Not sure if there are any logs to check for this case.

Please make sure after logging into the SEPM, that you choose to administratively manage the "XXXXX" domain before creating the new admin account.

Hi guys, Thankyou for all your suggestions.

We deleted the additional domain and worked with only one domain in place and the same resolved this issue for us.
